Keep in mind that everyone's hair is different, so you may have to experiment a little bit to find the perfect style for you.
But once you do, you'll be able to go about your day with peace of mind knowing that your hair is looking great!
So, without further ado, let's get started!
Ponytail
One of the quickest and simplest hairstyles for an all day hold is a ponytail. If you have long hair, this is a great option because it will keep your hair out of your face and away from your neck. This hairstyle can be done less than 10 seconds, and 20 if you wanted to use a brush to sleek your hair back for a sleek ponytail look.
It's also a good choice if you're active or if you live in a hot climate, because it will help keep your hair off of your sweaty skin (Unless it's really lone and Just be sure to use a good quality band that won't break or damage your hair. Hairstrong scrunchies have super soft gentle fabric but also ability to adjust to the right size with the bungee cord and toggle component.
High ponies can also stay up with the right accessory, but you'll find that depending on how sensitive your scalp is, you might get headaches later on during the day and if it's super tight, you might find creasing.
Braids
Another option for an all day hold is braids. This is a great choice if you want something a little more stylish than a ponytail, but you still need a hairstyle that will stay in place. There are many different types of braids to choose from, so you can find the perfect one for your hair type and desired look. Just be sure to braid your hair loosely so it doesn't pull too tightly on your scalp.
There are different types of braids in which you can do: ponytail braid, bubble braid, french braid, dutch braid, etc. All options are great and you can do a different one each day to switch it up. However, if you don't have time in the morning to braid your hair, keep on reading we got better options for you.
Buns
Since the work at home era started, the most trendy hairstyle has been a high messy bun. With the appropriate hair accessory, this bun could stay all day (check out this adjustable scrunchies for that), but, if you keep your hair up high all day, you might be susceptible to headaches and creasing. Sometimes though you need a high bun, to keep your hair off your neck and your back so here are a few ways we recommend doing a bun.
A Ballerina-esque bun, the twist helps prevent creasing and gives the bun a more elegant look.
A low bun to remove some of that pressure on your scalp and have the weight of your hair at the base of your head instead of at the top. (This is our go-to hairstyle for running because of it's location you don't have to worry about it sliding down or pulling on your hairline with every step)
If you have very long hair, you may want to try a topknot. This is a great way to keep your hair out of your face and away from your neck, and it will also help to keep your hair off of your sweaty skin. Just be sure to use a good quality band or bobby pins. If the topknot is very tight, you might get headaches and creasing.
Of course, you could make a messy bun look cute, but more chances than not, you'll have to adjust it throughout the day without the proper accessories. We also don't recommend the messy bun because if it does stay up all day, you'll find that with the way the hair folds, you'll notice some creasing or damage to your hair ends.
Or if you want to be on trend, you can try this super fun trend with space buns. Brush out your hair and section it down the middle into two parts and then make each part into a bun of your choice.
Short Hair Bobby Pins
If you have shorter hair, like chin length or shorter, that's not long enough to put back up all the way, another option for an all day hold is to use bobby pins. This is a great way to keep your hair out of your face and off of your neck, and it's also a good choice if you're active or if you live in a hot climate. Just be sure to use good quality bobby pins that won't slip out or damage your hair.
Using the right products for your hair helps with the hair damage and distractions.
All of these hairstyles mentioned doesn't work for every single person, and we know that. The right hairstyle comes with knowing how your hair is affected by different holds, what your personal style is, and how to best care for your hair.
Some of these hair styles can be prone to hair damage or creasing but they don't have to be with Hairstrong scrunchies. Imagine having a tight hold of an elastic but the gentle nature of a scrunchie. This is what Hairstrong has done. With a fortified bungee cord, gentle fabric, and an adjustable toggle, you can choose the tightness with a single pull so you can put your hair up in that high bun or pony without the raging headaches or damage. The best part is you don't have to have your hair up super tight, Hairstrong will still stay up in a secure fashion because you can control the size of it.
You can put your hair up, tighten the scrunchie and go.
Ultimately, the best hairstyle is the one that aligns best with your goals and hair type. Some days you'll want a tight and secure hold, other days you'll just want a quick loose hold in which case there is a different hairstyle for that. Some days you'll have 20 seconds to put your hair up, other days you'll want to spend an hour.
